ALLI ROGERS MEETS CHRIS THOMPSON FROM THE RIVENDELL BEES CO.

Alli had the pleasure of meeting Chris who runs the Rivendell Bee Honey Co. just after the publication of her book. Chris is passionate about bees and as such he runs a wonderful market stall in the market town of Daventry, selling all bee related products. He has kindly agreed to sell The Bee Who Didn’t Want To Be A Bee on his stall, and copies are also availablevia his website www.rivendellbees.co.uk

Alli’s children’s picture story book not only tells the endearing tale of Beatrice the bumblebee, who is obsessed with not being a bee and being something else, it also teaches children useful facts about bees.

As bees are now incorporated into the schools’ national curriculum for Key stage 1 & 2, Alli’s book contributes to that learning. It would appear that bees are very much the “buzz” word!

So, Alli’s message to all readers, small and big alike is let’s look after our environment and take care of our bees who work so hard.
